Abstract

 

Effect of interactive teaching in the development of critical thinking among students in second grade average in history

     This research aims to:-(see impact of interactive teaching in the development of critical thinking among students in second grade average in history).

To achieve the objective of research was adopted, a researcher of experimental design is exactly equal groups, partial, chosen for this intentional sample of grade average in high school (the boys) of the Directorate-General for education of Karbala for the purpose of applying experience during the academic year (2013-2014).

   Total sample search (75) students and (35) of the experimental group called the interactive teaching strategy and (35) of the control group, students studied the way (traditional).    

   After that select the researcher of the scientific material to be taught to students in my research, which included chapters I and II of the Arabic-Islamic civilization/book for grade average, to be taught by the Ministry of education during the school year (2013-2014) Select the Finder (150) behavioural goal of chapters I and II, and teaching plans for my research, so the Finder displays models of the Group of experts and specialists in teaching methods, measurement and evaluation, and the researcher is a measure of critical thinking from (45) paragraph, and verify that the charity after a group of experts, arbitrators, and firmly applied to a sample of students from a secondary school for boys, and farahidi “organized using the Pearson correlation coefficient value link corrected the equation between now-Brown (0,95) researcher has studied two groups of search itself during the trial period, After the end of the trial period and the application Finder tool considered to test critical thinking on a sample search, data were collected and then processed statistically through the statistical package for Social Sciences (Spss) and after analyzing the results, the researcher found a statistically significant differences in the responses of the respondents and of the experimental group which had examined the interactive teaching strategy in a test critical thinking on the control group which had examined the traditional way, Which means the experimental group students than for students in the control group to test critical thinking.

   In the light of the results, the researcher recommended that interactive teaching strategy taught history for grade average for its impact on the development of critical thinking among students to prove their effectiveness compared to the traditional way, as a complement to this research it was suggested that a researcher conducted a study similar to the stages and other course materials.
