ABSTRACT
Al Fatimi literature considered one of the most important literature in Arabic literature . This period witnessed the development in political and social and cultural life because of rich literary environment which braved the poets to appear their skills .
The caliphates and ministers had a big role to brave the literary movement so that the literature in that time and Egypt became the leader of Islamic world in literary life .The literature in sixth century hegri flourished to high levels so that many of proficient poets appeared in sixth century .
They served Al Fatimi literature a big services presented ripeness which reached to it so that this age I mean sixth century hegri called the gold age in Arabic literature in West .
Those poets introduced numerous of literary works which knew it Egypt land who aided literature by a lot of literary works because of large number of literary works . The writers in literature divided the poets of that age (sixth century hegri ) into two levels.
The first level was (professional ) who gained money from making poetry .
The second level was (not professional ) who didn’t used poetry as a source to obtain money . There was a group of poets who wrote divans beside their skill in writing and they would be a centre of this study .
The study divided into preface and two chapters . The preface had two parts ,the first part dealt with the general life in sixth century hegri . The second part dealt with translations for divans writers in that century .
The first chapter dealt with poetical efforts for divans writers . This chapter divided into two topics , the first topic studied objective directions for their poetry and the second topic studied the characteristics of their poetry .
The second chapter dealt with prose efforts for divans writers and this chapter had two topics too .The first topic studied objective directions for prose in that century. The second topic studied the characteristics of prose in the sixth century hegri in Al Fatimid state .
Finally , I beg God to accept my effort which I aim to participate in providing the literary library with this survey as far as I can , so as to serve humanity and science .
