Abstract

The syntactic articles are considered a basic element among others that help in Arabic sentence construction. It’s singular is an article. It is similar to the one that used by any handcraft in his job. Thus, the worker needs his article to fulfill his task, the grammarian also does. For the last is also considered as a craft owner since he needs his own article to construct his speech. He has to perform it perfectly with best articles that give the best sentence meaning in particular and the best speech meaning in general.

  The  researcher in syntax, surely that this study has tackled a wide part of the article subject that is simply due to their high number of their relation to other syntax topics. This was followed by the old and contemporary grammarians up to our modern time.

  Concerning enthusiasm explanations, they are regarded as the Arabic heritage. Many Arabic sciences highly exaggerated in its discussion for it is the more famous Arabic options. It was called enthusiasm for its first subject or meaning that these explanations start with is bravery, literature, erotic poetry, praise, and other poetic purposes that Arabs were showing off such verses were said by great poets.

  The current topic that I chose with the help of the supervisor assistant professor ( Dr. Selam Mujid) deals with what these explanations include of grammatical articles whether these are nominal, prepositional, or verbal. Some of these articles fell in more than one explanation. That led the researcher to adopt those scholars in particular article taking into accounts others opinions specially when they have other senses. They were studied grammatically according to its movements, position, and in particular function which is considered the base in limiting what comes after: noun or verb; and even limiting type of the item, as well as the article meaning. Similarly to what the interpreters said, the said that the article has more than one meaning according to the Quranic verse. This is applicable to the article in enthusiasm explanation for it has more than one meaning in the same or other poetic lines.

      The study was divided into three chapters preceded by an introduction and preface implying explanation of the article meaning literally and figuratively in addition to the grammarians’ thoughts in this concern mentioning whether it was adopted by the old grammarians or it is a contemporary term. Some differences between the Basris and Kufians were also mentioned.

  First chapter dealt with singular articles. I divided into it on the chapter alphabetically similar to some Arabic dictionaries. The article distribution in this chapter and others was not according to the function, rather that each article is singular due to the function or structure or simplicity of enthusiasm explanation.

  Second chapter followed by the first in order. It has the great part of article in comparison with the first. This maybe belongs to the large number of dual article.

  Finally, third chapter dealt with triple article and the extra ones. The additions on the base were mentioned such as ( rubemah) and (inemah), etc. the following results have been drawn:

  1.the most important figures who explained the enthusiasm were Ibin Gini in his book ( Al tenbeah), Al Merzoughi in his book (Sherh Diwan Al Hemaseh), and Al Tebrizi in his book (Sherh Diwan Al Hemaseh of Abi Temmam). We find them following Al Basris in their explanation.

  2.Sebewaih does not allow addition ( Min) in the duty while other explanation owners do, since they follow Al Ikhfesh and the Arab saying ( It was of rain).
