Abstract
The aim of the research
The present research aims to:
The procurement of regulation skills effectiveness of fifth-grade students in literary material of literature and texts, and how to achieve the objectives of the research were the researcher has randomly chosen (Tuliatla) junior high for girls at the center of the province of Babylon. Using a method where randomly drawing selected Division (a) to represent the experimental group that studied literature and texts according to regulation skills, by (30) female students, while represented Division (b) controlling group, who studied literature and texts on the way according to the usual, by (29) female students. The researcher conducted a statistical equivalence between the two groups of students in search of the following variables:
- 1.Chronological age of the students measured in months.
- 2. Scholastic achievement background for fathers.
- 3.Scholastic achievement background for mothers.
- 4.The scores of the Arabic language in the final test for fourth grade literary for the previous academic year 2012/2013. The researcher determined the subject to be studied during the duration of the experiment and formulated the behavioral objectives of the subjects that will be studied were (144) behavioral goals was subjected. The researcher began the experiment at the beginning of the first semester for the academic year 2013-2014. The researcher studied both of the groups the experimental and controlling group and in the end of the experiment, test’s achievement was applied on students of the two groups. The researcher used the following experiment for two independent samples and Chi-square, Pearson correlation coefficient, the equation coefficient of difficulty, equation of force discrimination paragraph and the equation of the effectiveness of alternatives errors and statistical methods. Following an analysis results statistically found to outweigh the experimental group who studied literature and texts regulation skills to students of controlling group who studied literature and texts in the usual way of procurement.
By the findings during the research the researcher recommended a number of recommendations, including:
1- The reliance on regulation skills in the teaching of literature and texts in high school, students achieved good results which cannot be overlooked nor avoided.
2- Training courses for teachers of the Arabic language and female’s teachers on the optimal use of teaching methods and modern methods, particularly the use of the skills of regulation to achieve the intended educational aims.
By completing this research the aspects of the researcher suggests a number of proposals, which includes:
1- A procedure of similar study of the current study on students in other grades in high school.
2- A procedure of similar study in materials other than Arabic language.
