abstract
The Present research aims to identify of using the interactive teaching strategy in the attainment of fourth-year preparatory female Literory students in history of the Arab-Islamic civilization subject. To reach this goal, the researcher formulated the following null hypothesis:
There is no difference statistically significant at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students using the strategy of reciprocal teaching and the average-level of students of the control group using the ordinary method in the attainment history of Arab-Islamic civilization subject
To check this, researcher has chosen a partly ـ control grexperimental design, and has intentionally taken Bidhaatـ Al Rasool preparafor school in the holy Karbala as a sample for her research, sample consisted of (58) students: (29) students as an experimental group and (29) students as an control group.
The researcher، then made acomparison between the two groups of students of researchas to different variables (the marks obtained for the academic year 2010-2011, the chronological age measurein months, testing of intelligence, and the academic achievement of parents.
And Then the topics of the material were identified which were represented by four chapters scientific of the history of Arab Islamic Civilization fourth ـyear preparatory school literary students ،which is approved by Iragi ministry of Eduction as a course(syllabus)for the years 2011ـ 2012,and then the researcher formulated goals of behaviour of (121)goals for the first four chapters , and also made plans for the two groups of research, and she offered samples of these experts and specialists in methods of teaching and measurement and evaluation, psychology and history.
The measure Prepared an achievement test to measure the level of the students after the completion of the experiment, it consisted of (40) items of the multipleـ choice type whose validity was tested by giving it to some experts in the fild and whose sample of Rabia Al ـAdaawiyah preparatory school students (for girls )the reliability coefficient was (0.89).
The researcher ,by herself , taught the two groups of the research all over the period of the experiment, which lasted for (11) week, and after the completion of the experiment,the dimensional achievement test was then applied on the students of the two groups of Search.
To analyses the results the following statistical methods were used: (T ـ test for two independent samples, Pearson’s correlation coefficient to calculate reliability of the test, Spearman Brown, equation, chiـ square, the equation of the difficulty of the item discrimination coefficient equation, and an activity of wrong options.
The study found the following results: There is a difference statistically significant at (0.05) level of significance and at (56) degree of freedom in favor of the experimental group which studied the using the interactive teaching strategy at the expense of the control group, which studied using ordinqry method of academic achievement. In light of this result the researcher reached come out with some conclusions and presented a number of oecommendations of which was the adoption of the interaction teaching strategy in teaching teaching of the history of Arab-Islamic civilization.
