                                                      Abstract

    This study aims to indicate the concept of verbal acts and the most important theoreticians, and their roles in persuasive speeches of political poets of political parties in the Umayyad: Umayyad,  Shiites, khawaarij and Zubairians. In fact verbal acts not intended in this instance acts known grammatical but verbs that work to accomplish certain situations which turn words into deeds or informative, guidelines or expressive as Discourse and harnessed to the task of their persuasive in changing the receivers’ thoughts and behavior through drawing them emotionally and intellectually to share, accept, or refuse. So such varied acts adopted by poets between guidelines and Expressionism is to convey the voice and  ideas of them indirectly.                               

     However, those  linguistic and rhetoric methods may suggest different meaning implicitly. So that, they fit the nature of poetic language in their hints, brevity, and symbolism. Besides those tip styles of constructional methods and associative techniques led to obtain an expressive function which declared through the political community visions of poets in two tracks: first: the rejection of the political reality imposed on them and the Umayyad policy governance style, was a mask fit disappear behind those emotions partially, appear to some as a symbol of strength and power, while others appear as a symbol of authoritarianism and imposed on them and the Umayyad policy governance style. while others appear as a symbol of authoritarianism and tyranny and violation of SC and Bayat in receiving the reins.  Second: they way for their parties and maximizing prestige and show symbols in sacred religious icon image analogue to prove its legitimacy in succession
