abstract
The most pioneer news paper in the Iraqi press was published in 1869 under the title “Zawra’a” and till now a days there were many important characters in mass communication who participated in the developing of intellectual of press movement in Iraq, one of these characters was Kamil Al- Chadarchi who played an important role in defending the vital issues of the society some of them was the freedom of the press in the Iraqi society.
This study is consider one cycle of the chain of the mass communication studies which tackled Iraqi characters who participated in their opinions of stances in making the events of history of mass communication and played a role in defending the vital society issues.
Kamil Al- Chadarchi was considered one of the politicians and press gays who were well known in the history of Iraq in the thirties till his death in 1968 A.D. where he was appointed as the first chief of press association of press in Iraq in addition to his managing for three daily news papers and they were “Al- Ahali, Saut Al- Ahall & Sada Al- Ahali”, and also his distinguished stances in serving the press & the press people in that era.
The thesis was divided in to five chapters, chapter one tackled the textual frame, while chapter two came under the title the social, intellectual & political roots of kamil Al- Chadarchi. Where it was consisted of two inquiries the first tackled the birth, the descending of the education of Al- Chadarchi, and as for the second inquiry it shaded the light on the intellectual of political activity of this character.
As for chapter three, it, tackled Al- Chadrchi participations in the press from his beginnings of work in press & politics & till 1968 A.D where it contained two inquiries the first came under the title kamil Al- Chadarchi participations in the era of monarchy, while we tackled his participations in press at the republic era in the second inquiry, in time chapter four tackled the most important fighting’s in press writing for Kamil Al- Chadarchi while the second inquiry tackled the most important press trials for this character, and chapter five focus on the analytical studies for the editorials in Al- Ahali, Saut Al- Ahali, & Sada Al- Ahali news papers to study through three inquiries in which the first was the analysis of the editorials in Al-Ahali newspaper for the period 1936-1961, the second tackled the analysis of the editorials in sauot Al-Ahali newspaper for the period 1942-1954, and lastly in inquiry three we tackled the analysis of the editorials in sada Al- Ahali for the period 1949-1952 the thesis was concluded by a conclusion which included many results, recommendations, to be followed by the sources, appendixes of the thesis abstract in the English language.
