Abstract

This study complements the study preceded dealt with the phenomenon of political assassinations in the Umayyad period to try to shed light on that phenomenon by reviewing the assassination of a political nature, which affected the caliphs and the ministers, princes and leaders, scientists, writers and poets as a result of the vagaries of politics and developments, and required the nature of the research division of the introduction, preface, four chapters and a conclusion and a list of sources and references.                    
The first chapter discusses the definition of the phenomenon of political assassination language termed by identifying linguistic meaning in the books of language and meaning of terminology through the review of the opinions known political assassination attempt to put the definition of political assassination, and the transition to the statement of position of Islamic law from the phenomenon of murder and presentation of the Quranic verses and hadith which forbids the assassination as a kind of types of treachery which are forbidden in Islam, and The first chapter also provides an overview of the methods used in the assassination as well as a key drivers of political assassinations and the echo of the phenomenon of political assassinations in the books of Islamic political heritage.                
The second chapter dealt with the political killings, which affected the AL-Alawieen in the Abbasid period I started the assassination of Abdullah AL-Mahz bin Hassan Al Muthanna and his brothers and their children through the assassination of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq, Imam Musa al-Kadhim, Imam Ali al-Rida and a number of the upper other end of the assassination of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad.                      
The third quarter reviewed assassination operations against the caliphs and the ministers, princes, and the statement of the motives and methods of these assassinations and the conflict between political and military sides, which in turn led to the resort each party to the liquidation of the other party through the assassinations, as well as on the issue of the mandate of the Covenant, which was the subject of a number of political killings between members of the House Abbasi.
The fourth chapter discuss the political assassinations of which were victims of scholars and leaders, writers and poets who had their positions or political opinions did not satisfy the abbasid , so they tried to get rid of them through assassination, One such process is the killingof ibn Hubaira and Abu Hanifa Nu’man Thabit and Ibn Muqaffa and poet Sudaiv bin Maimon
Conclusion included a presentation of the most important results of the search.
